Does anyone actually stop @ a stop sign anymore?
In Missouri it seems the old joke that a stop sign with a white border is optional (the punch line being that ALL stop signs have a white border) is the new rule of the road. Lately, drivers are simply slowing and then stomping on the accelerator and blowing through the stop sign.
Rolling through a stop sign is dangerous, especially in a neighborhood where children walk to school and play every day. Please come to a complete stop and look in all directions before proceeding through an intersection. Do it for the children. Do it for your family.
